where to start mental health?

where to start mental health?im moving to london and want to get a career in mental health , it doesnt matter if i voulenteer as that is somthing i would also love to do , i am 19 i have had experiance first hand , i just dont know where to start.
Are there agencies i can contact or broadmoor directly etc? im looking for anywhere in london.

University is a good place to start. I was a patient at a hospital for a while and every so often, some students from the local university would be sent there for 6-10 weeks. Alot of them went on to become really good mental health nurses at that same hospital and they had used the university to sort out their job.

There are specialist agencies that employ people for shifts in forensic mental health if thats what you are after, although i'm not sure of the names down in london. It might be worth contacting broadmoor/other places directly and seeing what positions they have as well.
Staffnurse.com might have some adverts, or nhs jobs if you google it.
