i am currently recieving carers allowance but i am struggling to live off so little whats my bestway round it?

i am currently recieving carers allowance but i am struggling to live off so little whats my bestway round it?i am gettin carers allowace of £53.90 a week and child tax of £48, i have one daughter and my partner is currently on dla for his mental health , which he get a small amount every 4 weeks , but i am aloud to earn (now change to) £100 a week which means i can wok 16 hours at £6.00 an hour at the most, which qualifiys me to get working tax but would i lose my carers allowance ? would they take working tax as an income ? there isnt alot i can do becasue to claim it i have to be with my partner ove 35 hours we have discussed that full time work is a possible but not favourable option but with having my daughter now 1 being at home works in my favour although i would love to get back into work , but obviously i need to be with my partner so a small amount of work is what im looking into , if anyone has been in my situation or knows a thing or two about how this works i would much appreciate the advice i want to support my family and live a much more comfortable life but i dont know how is best way round it .

thanks much appreciated

You cannot get carers allowance if you earn over £95 a week ..
Can i ask apart from dla what else does your partner claim does he get income support i have to ask how you pay rent and council tax so i can help ...if he gets income support as well you wont be able to work because it will effect his income support as well,

If your earning are over £95 per week you will loose your CA. You should also be claiming Income support and getting full council tax and hosuing benefit.
