How can I make my novel more interesting?

How can I make my novel more interesting?It's about a dysfunctional marriage: the husband is an alcoholic and abuses the wife; the wife becomes addicted to cocaine; the husband has affairs and the wife's mental health deteriorates. The novels ends with the husband pimping the wife and the couple living in a seedy motel by the ocean.

How can I make it more interesting? I don't know; maybe I'm being too hard on myself, but something seems missing.

more tragedy idk it doesn't sound like it has a great resolution though

Maybe if you added a little bit of happiness to it. People might get a little depressed reading it.

MORE INTERESTING?!?! if you dont think that is interesting than i am sort of afraid to see how your brain works. i dont really want to know what you find REALLY interesting... its probably something like the husband has sex with 8 woman including his wife in the same bed at the same time and than gets mad at his wife for eating the last scoop of ice cream and to resolve that problem they have octuplets and then they all the children die except one but he was a brain tumor and has to live for the rest of his life in a hospital, breathing through a tube in his neck and has to be fed through his nostril!
okay, my rant is done.
no but seriously, your book seems plenty interesting. maybe add a death in there too spice it up though :)
