Is this odd?! Have you heard of Florida's new Mental Health System?Browsing through the MyFlorida.com-Taxonomy-Government page on at www.myflorida.com/portal/Government, I clicked on the Dept. of Children and Families, and then clicked on the "MENTAL HEALTH TRANSFORMATION" section_since the word "transformation" caught my eye, especially after having read something related to it days back_and I found something that sounds strange, and which I had not heard about before. Especially the part about "Recovery and Resiliency TASK FORCE".

Aside from sounding odd, it gives impression that Florida will be "dumping" mental health care onto private citizens groups, or similar!!!

Yes this is sad, as some people just don't understand the seriousness of mental health issues, and they need to be taken more seriously! If they would spend more monies on programs for people with mental health issues nad offer free program's to people and get them on medication's this would help so many people, and curb suicide rates and even lower prisen rates as this is why 95% of the people are in prison.

Well it's all in how you look at it...

To me, I see two choices:

1. We choose not to pay taxes to help mental health facilities be able to help more of the uninsured THEN we end up with more crazy ppl killing ppl in schools, etc...

2. We fund these mental health facilities and have a safer society.
