Mental Retardation ?if one of the parents has Mental Retardation.. and the other parent does not have MR.. is it possible for the kid to have it?

It is possible for two non MR parents to bear a mentally retarded kid. So the answer to your question would be yes.

Yes, that is possible. It depends on what genes the kid inharets.

Also, if it is the male who has MR, then it is more like for the child to have it, because in a majority of cases, the males genes are dominate.
