What should we research to move. How much should we save for 2 people to live cheaply. Also public transportation is a must!
Any advise welcome.

Since you state that public transportation is important for both of you, you need to locate a map of the Denver Public Transportation system. You can find this at the first source link I posted below. And be sure to click on the link at the bottom of that page to have them send you a printed copy in the mail.
Use this as a guide for where you should be looking for housing.
Also use the second source link below to investigate the neighborhoods in Denver.
The third souce link below shows locations of mental health services.
Search for the type of industrial businesses you are interested in working for.
Then use these as guides on where to concentrate to look for housing.
If you can afford it, you might want to visit Denver before you move. You will have more time to research the area, and not have to worry about your personal belongings.

Here's some advice. We don't need any more marginally literate people in Colorado. FIRST learn to spell like a third-grader.
Mental health or art? Those are closely related! Colorado Blvd. is where the major hospital is. St. Anthony's is on Colfax. There are tons of other hospitals.
You'll find something.
Rents run around $ 1000/mo, so, you probably want to have about four to five months' rent, in case you don't find work right away.
