residential school for children with mental health problems?We live in california - San Juaquin county to be exact.
is there anything like this around? who do we contact for help?
We REALLY need something state funded as we are totally broke.
We are in the process of getting medi cal, we are in the final steps of this and just waiting on the medi cal card so we can take our 12 year old to the mental health dr for an evaluation.

I don't live in California but I am sure there has got to be special schools
for children with mental health problems in each state.

I know a kid in my neighborhood who is in desparate need of a mental
health evaluation,, it is just that his parents don't see his instabiltiy like
outsiders do.
