Are there too many holidays?

Are there too many holidays?Many well-meaning people have invented minor holidays such as: National Boss Day, Mental Health Awareness Month, etc. Is it just me, or does an abundance of official and non-official, minor holidays dilute the meaning of all holidays. What do you all think?

Are you kidding? there are not enough!. But of course, I'm only talking about the ones you get off from work and paid.

I agree...I heard Hallmark came up with all these other holidays...They want to keep business going and growing..We will soon be buying something for someone everyday..it's insane... We will have a national neighbors day...national uncles and aunt's day...national this national that....

Yes, there are way too many and I get tired of getting e-cards for every one of them.
