A lot of people get anxiety (that's all it is) late at night. I used to get it and how I fixed it was by eating less salt (check the sodium in things you eat) and drink more water. Whenever I felt it, I could always think back to what I ate before bed. Salt raises blood pressure and high blood pressure is one cause of anxiety. If you cant sleep, get up. Dont stay in bed. Drink a couple glasses of water and watch a movie. Not horror.

Asking a question here is a good start. Now, you need to talk to someone. Physically, to TALK to them. I doubt it matters if it is a pastor or a psychiatrist as long as you are open to some guidance regarding what you are experiencing. Just be willing to take some direction from them and follow through on their suggestions. I'm sure if one or the other feels you need help they can't offer, they will help you find someone who can provide it. Good luck and best wishes!
