has he got serious mental problems?

has he got serious mental problems?Has he got serious mental problems? Or is he having a break down? Basically last week I found plans, and suicidal notes, made out to me
(his best friend) and he's family. I confronted him about it and he denied it, got rather angry I must say.

So following he's behaviour (listed at the bottom of this page) I rang he's doctor from the CAMHS team, I expressed my concerns and my friend went to see him. He refused to talk, and denied he was unwell. The doctor was very concerned, he tried to get him to take medication for he's depression and eating disorder (not eating right) he also recommended supportive housing, at this point he stormed out of the room. Following that i convinced him to go back the next day, he went and did the same, so the doctor has rang social services and the crisis team which are coming out Monday.

Since the last appointment he has tried to Jump off the roof, I managed to catch him just as he slipped. He's reaction was crying and "why won't you let me die" He won't talk to me at all now, and just sits there all day with anger in he's eyes. I'm worried that the crisis team won't section him, and indeed I will be left with he's life in my hand.

Agitated, isolating himself, not being able to concentrate or hold up a conversation, suicidal ideation, not eating much AT ALL. He has an eating disorder and depression already. Can he actually get detained under the mental health act for this? Any help would be excellent as I'm starting to loose It myself.

If you really care about him, You should talk about this to his parents, this seams to be very important & life threatening. ASAP! Before something happens, then you will feel bad not telling. He is a dander to his self. Report it to crises center. Please do not wait! Good Luck!
