PE = better blood flow and more oxygen to the brain. You can think faster, clearer, etc. You are happier and more upbeat and are not as enervated. That's why most original couch potatoes who start working out say that they have more energy than ever before.

Exercising helps one to relax by releasing endorphins through sweating. It helps one to reduce depression and also reduce anxiety. Also, with regular exercise, your body and mind is able to concentrate better at work and is more alert. You'll also sleep better and feel more fresh. It also helps you feel more energetic and happier.

I work out three times a week on nautilus equipment and I can't say enough about working out and I'm not a muscle man, just someone in good shape.

Working out increases the levels of endorphins in the brain, which are the body's natural painkillers. My pulse and heart rate also go up by working out and more oxygen goes into my brain, which feeds it. So incidentally, I have better memory and I think sharper and clearer.
