what is the difference between a licensed indep, clinical social worker and licensed mental health clinician?

what is the difference between a licensed indep, clinical social worker and licensed mental health clinician?I am interested in seeing a therapist and have been given two options. It is for alcohol, depression, and anxiety mainly as well as rebuilding relationships.I don't know if theirs a difference, and knowledge and advice is good.

They are two different degrees, and I dunno what differences there are in the training, but for INSURANCE purposes & reimbursement, it could make a BIG difference. For example, I have medicare, and must see a licensed social worker (MSW) or a person with a PhD for counseling. This rule, unfortunately, rules out about 90% of the therapists. If insurance doesn't matter, then when you call the office, ask which therapist is best for the issues you want to discuss.
