"California became the first state in the country this week to mandate that patients with HMOs and PPOs be seen in a timely manner, within 10 business days of making the call for most routine cases and 15 days to see a specialist." - ABC News online
I let them know about this. They said they didn't know what I was talking about and wouldn't get me in sooner (I say they because I called a couple of times, trying to get through to SOMEONE).
Who do I report this to? The California State Medical Board? The police? Both? Who can I call?

Probably the attorney general's office if I had to guess. You could also try reporting it to the medical board.

Before you do anything.. A phone call or several is not proof that they couldn't give you an earlier appointment.. Call in or ring them and ask them to send you an appointment card for their soonest appointment, or when u call in, record the conversation asking for their earliest appointment, then move on to report it to the medical board.. Always remember you have to prove everything these days so get it written down as soon as.. Good luck with it!

IF the law pertains to this situation, your objective is to get an appointment correct? Contact Kaiser's Customer Service / Complaint Department to discuss it first! Because you heard it, does not make it so.
