I'm going to be leaving the services of a psychiatric hospital and I wanted to give one of my psychiatrists acard but I don't know what to say in it. He has helped me through rehab and a partial program and I like him very much. He's an older gentleman and has been with the hospital for a long time. Should I make it short and sweet or with a little more feeling?

Make it heart felt. Let him know what a difference he's made in your life. It will mean a lot to him. Psychiatrists like validation too.
