i need help, real bad.?

i need help, real bad.?i'm almost 34 yrs. old, suffer from bipolar 1 disorder. i live with my folks, but they're both in their 70's. i live outside of kemp, tx. (between north tx. and east tx. area...near cedar creek lake...deep southern kaufman county, near henderson county line...i live about 50 miles s/east of dallas.

i've had bipolar 1 disorder, since i was 22, and was first diagnosed with it, at the age of 24.
for a long time, i was able to take care of myself, for the most part. but lately, it's just been getting harder and harder to do so. i'm suicidal half the time, my depression has been getting worse and worse, i've been thinking of death quite a bit, lately; also, i'm not on my meds, right now...which i'll remedy pretty soon. i'm changing my meds, and i'm going to be on the new ones, pretty soon...so i'm not worried about that. when i'm on the meds, things are better, but it's still hard (somewhat) to take care of myself.

my parents aren't going to be around forever, and i can't live on my own. so, right now, i'm in a very bad situation...i don't know what to do or where to turn to. i can't work...i am going to apply for ssi (for the 3rd time)...and stick with it. but, ssi will only go so far. i still don't know what's going to happen to me. my future right now is extremely doubtful and uncertain.

so i need help with this, really, really badly.

thnx.

p.s. where on the web (and elsewhere) can i find resources
for this sort of thing? (for ex.: mental health, low-income housing,
hospitals / clinics for low-income people (physical health), ssi,
medicare, medicaid, food stamps, etc)...in other words, resources
for people with mental health problems and who are of low income
or no income.

any help with this would be most greatly
appreciated.

again, thnx.
i'm a born-again Christian.
i also do not do drugs or drink alcohol...or smoke.

Don't hurt yourself. Call your local library and get someone to help you research where the local resources are to help the poor. The state welfare office might give you some help, the largest churches often help the poor, and there are food boxes available and free clothes at places like Catholic Charities, and the Salvation Army. See if the hospital knows of any support groups and ask the people at the group where they get help. Positive thinking is so important in life. Have hope and pray about your life. Know that God can help you live a better life if you want Him to help you. You can have a personal relationship with God by saying the prayer below. God is our Creator, all-knowing, all-powerful, eternal, holy, love. God loves us and sent us His Son, Jesus Christ, so we can go to heaven if we know and follow Him. Forever means without end -- time on and on without death. Forever is what happens after we die. Either we go to heaven and be with God forever, or we go to hell which is very bad and painful forever. The good people who are saved believers in Jesus Christ go to heaven. The bad people go to hell. We need to know and follow God in this world to get to heaven in the next world. We follow God by loving and obeying Him and loving others for Him. Jesus Christ, God's Son, is our bridge to God. Jesus died on the cross to cancel our sins. We need to accept Jesus into our life as our Lord and Savior forever to receive God's blessing and forgiveness plus go to heaven to be with God forever after we die. This is about being a born-again Christian. Faith in God is a gift from God. You can pray for faith in God. Just speak out and ask God for the faith to believe in Him and to follow Him. Some people find faith in God when they realize the beauty in the world is made by God. Evolution can't explain the world's natural beauty, for example, the parks in the world, animals, flowers, peacocks, sunsets, butterflies, rainbows, etc. After you have your faith on, you can pray a sinner's prayer to be a born-again Christian. This prayer is very important and should be said with a sincere heart and faith in God. This is the prayer: "Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and that Jesus Christ is the sacrifice for our sins. I have done the following sins (state these out) and I pray to discontinue these sins. I pray to receive Jesus Christ into my life as my Lord and Savior forever. In Jesus' name, amen." I'm Lutheran and I like the Baptist churches too. You could check out a Christian church and also see about their weekly Bible study group as a good way to learn about God's will for your life. You can pray to God about your daily life and have a Christian church pray for you.

Hurting people hurt others. Theres nothing wrong with you its the people who are mean to you. They are sick and being mean makes them feel better. People/kids/parents do mean things or lie to manipulate. They just want the reaction so they can get high feel good from it. The words are not true.

Rejection/father gone it lets other things start. Cutting, OCD, anxiety, panic attacks, hearing voices, psychic dreams can all come from a tramautic past. Its opens doors to the negative and they start to dwell closeby. They have problems not you.

Demons are related to fallen angels, angels who rebelled against God. Demons are evil, deceptive, and destructive. According to 2 Corinthians 11:14-15, demons masquerade as "angels of light" and as "servants of righteousness." Appearing as a "ghost" and impersonating a deceased human being definitely is a disguise that demons use. They also cause plain harrassment and emotional torment. They can also look like shadows or most anything even angels..dogs...

Demons are attracted to the very sad or just a house where death or sin was and make you seem to have many mental problems as well as have you see things. They are on the increase and may come even if theres no abuse.

Getting into witchcraft, drugs or new age religions such as hindu will also make you see things. Sometimes for no reason they just hate humans.

God helps anyone even if they dont know him.

1. Play Christian music.
2. Say get out in Jesus name in each room.
3. Throw away Ouija boards.
4. Dont consult mediums or talk to spirits it will make it worse.
5. You can talk to me or Google "Emotional Abuse" They are the sick ones not you.
6. Google "Sinners prayers"
7. Google "Deliverance prayers"

Demons are being seen more often. So labeling someone bi polar should be used with caution.

Hi!

I feel your frustration as I have been there many times. Yes, God is there for you, but we as responsible Christians must do the footwork to aid in assisting ourselves. I wish walking around each room of your home claiming the Lord and casting out demons would cure this medical disease, but alone, it simply will not.

Going off your meds is absolutely NOT ok! Even if you feel they are not working, you need to let your prescribing dr know. Stopping meds cold turkey can send you in a tailspin all by itself! You need to be and STAY monitored and I'll be the FIRST to tell you that it takes time to find the right meds that work for YOU! what works for some, does NOT work for others!

Be sure you are FULLY diagnosed too! Many of us with BiPolar, have other disorders as well, which makes us hard to treat and can be VERY frustrating with dead ends on new meds! (i.e. PTSD, BPD, ADD, etc) Research the National Alliance for Mental Health and find one near you! They can be HUGE advocates for you and point you in the right direction too! www.Nami.org

There are MANY resources out there, including your local pharmacist! A local University is also a good resource for cheap treatment. You need to go to the "Government Pages" in your phone book and find your county social service agency. This is your one stop shop for health insurance, food stamps, mental health care, housing, etc. Here, I found their site for you. It's called the Texas State Department of Health Services: http://www.dshs.state.tx.us

FYI: In 2002, Texas Revised a (Proposed 1115 Waiver) to the Social Security Act to Provide Medications and Other Services to Texans with Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder.

I did some research for you around Kemp, TX. It's enough to get you started, the rest is up to you! YOU are your own BEST advocate and don't let ANYONE including YOURSELF, let you think you are not worth it!!!

There is even a Texas Mobile Crisis Unit:
Telecare Mobile Crisis
24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week.
(866) 260-8000
Business Phone: 214-267-0545

NOW! MOST IMPORTANTLY: I want you to know that once you get settled on the correct meds, there IS hope for you!!! You control your own destiny and you may not be able to work just ANY job, but you DO qualify for a government program that will pay for you to go to college (even TX A&M!) to get a degree in something YOU CAN DO!!!! It's the Department of Rehablilitation and it's another GREAT resource for many things! Here is their Vocational Link for your state: http://www.dars.state.tx.us/drs/vr.shtml

Hopefully that gives you enough to get you started, but in the meantime, there are phone numbers you can call for help in finding and getting immediate help! Whether it's someone to talk to or someone to help you take the next step:

There's hope! I promise!!!! Dont give up! You're worth it even if you can't see it thru the haze right now! Your family needs you! Go for it girl!!!
Plus, you always have me! I will be praying for you! Please keep me updated as to your progress and let me know if you hit a wall and I will try to get you jump started again!!
Here's to new friends who share the same Beautiful Disaster!

Love in Him,
