How much is too much to tell your psychiatrist?

How much is too much to tell your psychiatrist?He is thru a 'community mental health center' with a case overload. I feel like just a # & regret some things i shared. I cant shake this. It will always haunt me. How can i get rid of the continuous "regret" state of mind?

Don't worry about things like that. They are paid to see patients and help them with their problems. This is part of their responsibility as a doctor.

No matter who he works for, he chose his profession. You can't help it that he has a case oveload.
With psychiatric help, I don't think there is such thing as "too much". They are there to help you and without all the details of your problems, how can they help you?

Dont tell him if you plan to physically harm someone. Since there required by law to report it to the police.

Anything else is ok.
