Have you ever been in a mental health unit / ward? (help?)?I am 16 and i'm being moved to a mental health unit for about 2 weeks and i was just wondering what i should expect?

So,
whats it like?
what is there to do?
what kinda annoying stupid rules are there?

Just relax and do what you're told by the helpers and follow all the rules.

I was in a suicidal hospital before. It was freaking lame. You can't do
anything. Stare at the white walls and color and write and you can
talk to other people. I'm sure a mental health unit is different, but I'm
sure you will be happy to get out when you do. I was in there for 5
days and every day I had visitations I had to go into a seperate room
with my family when all the other families shared a big room because
I freaking hated it, and told my dad and mom to take me the heck out
of there. I was in there by mistake, because my stepmother is stupid.
I was never suicidal, but anyways, you will HATE it.

Yep really stupid rules, you got that part right.

You will have to do group therapy and therapy with a doctor, eat at a certain time, make phone calls at a certain time, and go to bed and wake up at a certain time. They try to get you on schedule there.

They might even try to put you on meds, which to me, is wrong to do to a minor, but it depends on what you're in there for.
