A proper diet, and an exercise program. Easier to stay in shape than to get into it.

Drink alcohol in moderation, get plenty of exercise, dont smoke, dont do drugs, eat plenty of fruit and veg, dont eat too much fatty food, keep takeaways to one a week, practice safe sex, talk about worries (dont bottle them up), have regular dental check ups, dont put off seeing the doctor if something isn.t right. Play sport or do yoga - something to destress at least twice a week. Watch your posture and be careful how you lift and carry things. Dont take unnecessary risks, smile a lot and have a good laugh every day.

Stay in shape. As a heart and stroke patient I can attest to the problems that occur when you don't. I've spent the last 12 years getting back in shape. Now I'm performing like I did at 32 years old. By the way, I'm 57.
