I am interested in mental health and Occupational therapy related stuff. I am getting my summer holidays soon (in australia) and wondering whether it is possible to volunteer and mainly observe most probably under a senior OT, what kinds of work they do? I am an OT student. I have done observations as part of a placement at Uni but is it possible to do it during the holidays as well?
If it is possible how do i go about this?

yes you can im 17 and i was working in one for 6months

The best thing to do is go ask. Contact the institution you'd like to observe and volunteer at and ask. It is very likely that they have some kind of program for students to participate in.
