Why are the majority of the people down on Britney Spears just because she is bipolar?

Why are the majority of the people down on Britney Spears just because she is bipolar?Plus that paparrazi only exacerbates her already sad sad state of mental health. In some of the blogs people say just die all ready. Obviously they never suffered from bipolar disorder BUT WHY are they so mean?

Just because you have bipolar doesn't mean you have a "sad mental state" Most bipolar individuals are perfectly functioning. I'm bipolar. I have a job, I go to school, I have a boyfriend. I definitely don't act like Britney. Sure, we have ups and down but we take a mood stabilizer and it minimizes the affect. There are actually a crazy amount of people out there who are or are being diagnosed with bipolar. Never use an illness as an excuse.

a few reasons.

- she's irresponsible, in that she wont seek help, nor treat her children properly, or behave like an adult in general. her actions will affect her children deeply, as well as people close to her, which is hard to accept

- jealousy, lets face it people are jealous that someone who is so "fcked up" for lack of a better term, can also be so successful financially

- she makes terrible music. i could care less about her disorder or antics. she's a horrible singer, and thats supposedly the reason i should know who she is. i don't read about other people going crazy

I agree with you. I've been thinking Britney's bipolar for a long time. It's sad that most are cruel and insensitive to her illness. Would everyone be just as cruel and insensitive if she had terminal cancer or other illness? We should be a more loving nation and refuse to buy the garbage tabloids that are making her situation worse. 2D

There is more going on with her than bipolar and she isn't doing anything about that and she exposed her children to a lot of bad things and she does drugs. Generally she is a danger to herself and others and different than most bipolar people. Even my friend, Tony, never did the things she did. We expect more responsibility from bipolar people than what she is showing. What is wrong with that? I agree with Lola.
