You got it. Most of the people that are homeless have a mental disorder and most of them use alcohol or drugs. These people have to overcome their addictions before they can work on their real problems and deal with their disorders. It would be nice if people could just be recreational users, but they become addicts because of their emotional and psychological issues.

i have psychosis and schizophrenia and drugs do not cause mental disorders they just bring them on faster.i know this for a fact i spent 6 months in a psychiatricward and spoken to many doctors because i thoght drugs gave me those disorders but i do not know the percent. but 25 percent of people have metal disorders

That would all depend on your definition of disorder. A minority have a clinical disorder, the majority have physical problems and problems with living in a completely screwed up society. Drugs are an escape from grinding boredom and bulls***.
