Answer by Don't Blame me
If you have a chemical imbalance then there is no 'natural' way to fix it... if you have something caused by a certain event then yoga and meditation often helps people. I have GAD (an anxiety disorder) and REQUIRE medication to manage my anxiety otherwise I am always a nervous wreck.
The air you breath outside, the hormone treated food you eat, or the water you drink is not any better for you than the "toxic" drugs that would make you feel better.

Here;s one for you. Lithium, the gold standard for treating Bipolar disorder is a completely natural salt. It is found in the soil, the food you eat and in the water you drink. Completely natural and the pharmacutical companies don't make a dime off of it, never have.
There are some natural things that may help some.... eating right exercising, etc.....and may even do the job in MILD cases. But in moderate to severe cases medication is necessary.... these disorders are the result of chemical imbalances in the brain.... would you tell a diabetic to stop taking insulin because doctors and drug companies just want to make money off of them.....
Seriously, people need to understand that just because they can't SEE what is broken in a mental illness doesn't make it not real, or not serious, or not life threatening. People refer to "pills" as toxic but if you want to look at it that way, every time you eat fast food you are doing damage to your body.... and you don't even get a benefit from it. At least the people who take psychiatric meds receive a tremendous benefit... some even are able to lead a fairly normal life which wouldn't be possible without the help of today's "toxic pills".
