They're all good fields of study. You have to go with what you like.

All will require working with people who have deeply rooted issues and people who are in a really bad state and none of them make great money for the things they have to deal with and are exposed to.
I was in the same position and I chose something similar to mental health counseling. My school offered substance abuse certificates that could be earned while going to school for something else, so I didn't feel the need to do that. I considered social work but I, personally, could not work with children in that bad of shape without it deeply affecting me. I also did not want to be on call and have to travel regularly.
I would see what your school offers in terms of certificates because you may be able to earn one without having to take additional classes (or only a few extra classes). This would get you the most for the money you're paying. I would also consider what each job does and what it requires of you (not just time wise but as a person). Social work might be OK for you, but I would have to go to therapy to discuss the things I was dealing with if it were me.
