Religion has a bad rap, I'm afraid. When people think of Christianity, they think of preppy hollier-than-though people or the preacher types who put everything back to God and don't give any real advice, just to pray. It's true for a lot of religions though. Muslems are considered terrorist, Hindu are poor women with marker dots on their foreheads, mountain monks, I forget the religion they're in, are warrios that break boards with their heads. People just put down religion, it's just something that happens. Don't let it get to you. Personally, I believe angels and demons do speak to people, but a lot of times it might be as simple as alternate personalities. I have first hand experience with this and I know that not all voices are religious in nature, some are just normal people. Well, relatively normal.

Actually, from what I understand, hearing voices is because of a malfunction in the brain where the storage containers of our memories leak. Try day treatment as folks I have known have said since they are in an interactive, accepting group they hear less voices. Perhaps they have some medication that will help. Mmm
Orignal From: how come i keep getting thumbs down when i tell someone on the mental health forum that the voices are real?
