I think it is great that you have a direction for your life. However, high school is the time to be exploring ALL of your options. I thought that I wanted to be a nurse, but then I took a health class and was like NO. Now I am a teacher. I would take criminal justice and/or human psychology...just to see if you even want to become a social worker. I would also suggest you taking an "internship" underneath a social worker (contact your local DHR of CPS). If after these classes and your internship you still want to pursue this path, I would talk with your guidance counselor at your high school, along with the one at your local college, about courses to take and things you can be doing now on your own to prepare.

Just Health classes will be enough, I suppose.
