I am from NZ with an MSW qual; have experience in adult mental helath, any good jobs for social workers?I'm thinking of moving to Hawaii in 2007. I am an experienced (10yrs) social worker with experience in mental health and women's health care. I would like to know if there are any jobs available in either of these areas.

There are jobs in the US for masters level social workers. But you'd need to be licensed and I don't know what you'd have to go through to get your license. Probably a written exam and maybe more college courses.

Hawaii is VERY expensive to live and I am not sure how good their mental health care system is. That sort of thing varies from state to state and even county to county.

Then there's the whole citizenship issue. There are a lot of things to check into for this. But I hope some of the things I've said help.
