I just don't know how honest I should be with them. I'm wondering whether I should just pretend that I'm fine and that I'm not suicidal so they won't intervene. I don't want to end up in a psychiatric ward, but I really do need some help because I don't want to feel this way anymore.
Just wondering if anyone can relate to this or what they would do in my situation. Please help x

theres two options really and as Ive been in your shoes I understand exactly how your feeling...
you could lie, which would be the easiest option now or you could be honest with them and tell them you are having suicidal thought which will be better for you in the future cause itll only come back :)
I think that you should let them know that you want help and you know its wrong, because at least they know your not going to be refusing help and they wont put you on a high security. They will realise that, yes you may feel suicidal, but you know that its not right...
I hope you stay safe and do what right...tell them the truth hun x

You have already acknowledged that you are "actively suicidal" and "really do need some help because I don't want to feel this way anymore", so you know inside that you should seek their help.
Ending up in the hospital is not the worst thing that can happen; you hurting yourself is. Don't view this possible outcome as a punishment or stigma. Instead, use the Community Mental Health Team as a tool to help yourself understand and work through your feelings. If you truly need some help and don't want to feel this way anymore, be completely honest with them. They are their to help you. But they can only do this if you allow them to. Treat them as a resource that you can use, and not something to be afraid of.
I hope you get the help you desire and deserve : )
