Mental Health: can this be indicative of bipolar?

can this be indicative of bipolar?I have some of the symptoms, including altering depression and elation, lack of sleep and feeling both energetic and sluggish at once. Though not very often, I get depressed enough to wish I would die. I get some irritability. I seem to be hypomanic. I'd get checked, but I don't have insurance and can't find the mental health department in my town (they did have one but I cannot find it now).
I also have had the tendency to laugh (Sometimes uncontrollably) at trivial or unusual things. Can this be a symptom of the manic phase?

It could be, but without more intensive knowledge I couldn't really tell you. Your best bet is to try to find that mental health department again. If you can't find it on your own, you can try calling city hall and asking them for information on them.

YOu know what, every people experienced that. Don't think too much that it's bipolar. Life is sometimes sad and happy. Just cheer up!!

It is possible to be bipolar but you need to have something more reliable of an answer other than yahoo answers.

The mental health department phone number can be obtained from your city hall phone operator. If there is not a mental health department in your city seek out one that is in a larger city other than the one in which you live.

You will be able to obtain treatment through the mental health department and not be charged for your medications or treatment. My son is being treated through the mental health department of the city in which we live. He is not charged for medications, nurse's visits or psychiatric appointments. So do not give up hope.
