Last night her dog litterally puked and shat his guts out. He is in the hospital fighting for his life now and I suspect the lunatic's dead animal bodies had something to do with this. I told her to call the health dept and animal control....and mental health mobile crisis. Then file a lawsuit.....bc she already told her landlord to have all of them tossed out. Isn't this some sort of health code issue?
The reason I am convinced the dog ate some deer/squirrel carcas is because no one is sure how they died. So if he poisoned themmmmmmm hence the dog would get deathly ill.
The dog has a doggie door and the basement is an open area...Snoopy most likely went down to check it out.
Her dumb landlord ignored her request to have the deer and squirrels removed and the neighbors got them up themselves. I don't think they DISINFECTED the areas.
I told her he sounds like a candidate for "Most Evil"
Her dog is going to live. They sent his blood samples off to a toxicologist....they need to figure out what the dog got into.
Snoopy is taking in liquids from a bowl now and should be released in the morning.
I am still very very upset.

oh geez...what did the landlord say? I can't imagine having those dead animals is allowed since it is not a private home, especially in the public basement! sadly it sounds like youve done about all you can.

ya think ya thats pretty sick i cant stand when people let stupid people run them....as for the doggie hun if the dog is up to date on all shots that pup has a good chance to live however if that weirdo was feeding the dog the crap it might be a tougher battle but if pup is vaccinated to date all should be good after some good meds...hope all goes well.

Although I am sincerely sorry to hear about your frineds dog, I don't really think eating part of a deer carcass would make him that ill. Unless the deer was putrid with rot, even then, dog's stomachs can digest much more bacteria than our can. I would begin thinking of other things to look for.
Best of luck to your friend and her dog.

She should also contact the police as this is a possible criminal act. Some profilers will tell you that most serial killers will start off by killing animals and move up to people. I would say this constitutes a suspicious act by another. Contact the police as well as the health department and the ASPCA and animal control. Animal control can remove the dead animals and dispose of them as they should be. The deer carcass and squirrel could be poisoned or spoiled and this is causing her dog to be so sick. Please if she doesn't do this then maybe you can? An annonymous tip can work as well. I would be very suspicious of this guy. One does not keep dead animals around for drying out. If he is wanting to teach survival courses he should think of his own survival first. I would say in my book his survival training or whatever is wrong. Call the police now.
