Mental Health question?

Mental Health question?I have DID, I have so much stuff like pictures, artwork, and writings... including my journal I could show my Psychologist, I am so afraid to cause, what if she sends me off?
I have 7-9 alters or personalities, 2 of them are harmful, this is why I'm afraid.
I also have been diagnosed as Schizophrenic (Catatonic & Paranoid type)
Would she send me off if I show these things?

I want to get help more for the DID, but the problem is I don't know how she would react to a few of my identities. I really need some good help.
I take Rispiridone, Klonopin, Trazadone, and Dylantin for Schizophrenia.
It works.
But the DID, it is still there...
She knows I have DID, would she want to see what I have?
Would she bother to read?
Would she send me off?
So many questions I know.
Edit: I have a Psychiatrist.
Also no, she is not a victim, she is a good Psychologist, I just don't know how she would react to a few of my identities.
Edit: Yes I was abused brutally as a child by my father.

No, she will not send you off. It is her job to be there for you at the time and during the lapse of time that is set for your therapy. You can ask her yourself if you can bring some of your writing , sketches and so on. It seems to me that it can be useful to comment on, but that is really up to her and to you to decide.
Good luck!

Perhaps you could start with looking up DID specialists in your area. People not familiar even in the psychiatric profession are not always believers. Some don't think its a real diagnosis. You need to trust your psychologist. I hope you will have a workable relationship eventually. God bless you.
I don't know how she will respond to your personalities....only she knows. Are you or your personalities dangerous? If so, I would suggest you may need to be on medication and unless you let her know, of any danger she could be a victim, so if its possible tell her and ask to see a psychiatrist.

In my experience, Dissociative Identity Disorder is almost always connected to severe trauma (physical or sexual abuse). Your brain "walls off" certain developmental stages between abuse episodes. Your personality during those developmental stages is reflected currently as alternate personalities.

If you want to get better, tell your psychiatrist about your trauma history. He may consider a primary diagnosis of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, instead of schizophrenia. Also try to get established with a therapist who specializes in abuse and trauma issues. Once you start understanding the trauma, the developmental separations will slowly converge.

Hum, suggest you stay with this personality. You statement. Is made clearly and with lucidity.
That would indicate to me that your mental issues are more than likely a form of "secondary gain". They certainly do make you a very unique individual.
My advise to you is to be totally open and honest with your Psychologist, we are objective and totally non judgmental in our thinking. We offer suggestion that we believe are beneficial and impact in a positive way on the issues you are dealing with.
