Can negating your emotions be bad for your health? It is probably obvious to many people, so I am sorry if this comes across as a stupid question. I am wondering if negating your emotions and experiences, for example, not trusting your emotions can lead to poor health, particularly if it can cause mental health problems and if so...which ones? How can I break this habit? I do this because I am afraid of my own emotions. Thanks!

Absolutely yes. It may lead to psychosomatic illness. I suggest it's better to negotiate than to negate.
All the best.
