Which Job: Nursing in a hospital or co-ordinator in an NGO?

Which Job: Nursing in a hospital or co-ordinator in an NGO?I am Registered Nurse (of 26 years) with a job offer of working as a nursing coordinator with adolescents (Drug/alcohol and Mental health) with a drop in pay but a generous salary package option, flexible hours and very family friendly. It's contract based for at least 1 year with accreditation in the future and free certified study.
Or do I stay in my hospital job in a mental health unit with lots of shift work, no control on my roster, but more money, job security, work I tolerate (and very good at) but with the usual lack of time with my young family?
I am weighing up both options.
The first means that we have to find some money each month to cover all bills (can work casual), the second is that all bills are covered, but with zero time with the kids.
Any thoughts?

You need to look at the whole picture.

Your age – how long do you want to be doing what you are doing right now (same job). P

Money is not everything. Consider the little free time you have now with your family – I bet you would trade it in for the new job.

I think you already answered your own question. If you decide to leave, make sure it is on a good term.
