Is mental health staff to be trusted ?

Is mental health staff to be trusted ?So when in a mental hospital what happens if you get fucked over ? your not insane or suicidal but the doctor says you are and says your staying. Legally in my state they can keep you for 15 days with a CEC until you have to go to court to decide. So what if a doctor doesn't like you or you get falsely charted by a nurse? Do we put to much faith in these people to do the right things ? I myself have been in a mental hospital before and i hated it. I saw a doctor for 3 minutes a day everyday. that was it. I also caught my Nurse Mis quoting my words and twisting them into something they were not. Seems like they just want you to stay there to keep their pay check flowing in. Mental hospitals should be for people who are a danger to others not themselves and ALOT of consideration and study should be put into it before committing someone to it.

These staff are like all people. Some are good, some aren't. That's about it. Same in all professions.

those people suck, if it hadn't been for my own dr i would have been still locked up and away theses little minds with so much power can destroy lives they changed my Doctors orders and lied about what was said..I was lucky and I know so many more are not...what I saw going on in there was criminal...not help.

my mother was a psychotherapist, and i would go pick her up from work at the mental health clinic wear she worked. and some of he coworkers were really burned out, underpaid , overworked, and she would tell me what he coworkers would do to some of the mental patients and i was freaked out , let me tell everyone never let yourself be admitted by one of the states mental health care workers. unless you like the idea of being labeled insane and being force fed major mind altering drugs that will leave you nutty as a jar of peanut butter.once your in the system your life will never be completely your own ever again.
