I would like some information about online colleges.?Well, rather than search endlessly on the interweb I am hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. Pretty much exactly what I want is to find a site(s) that can offer a very nice, as affordable as possible, accredited online degree. More specifically as an RN......or first an LPN then to an RN, however it's done I'm not 100% yet. But I would very much like to work in a mental health center/hospital, odd as it may sound. So, I am looking for a program that can meet all the requirements for me to be able to get a job in this sort of field, whether it be an assistant, research, etc....the specific title isn't decided yet, but the general field I have taken a keen interest in. Any information will be of great help. Thanks.
Answer by RoaringMice I don't know of any reputable LPN or associates degree nursing/RN degrees available online. There are some reputable BS RN programs online, but those are only for people who already hold an associates degree in nursing.
It's really important that your associates degree in nursing have a heavy clinical component, including training in actual hospitals and etc. Many community colleges offer part-time associates degrees in nursing, so if the reason why you're looking for an online program is because you work, perhaps a part-time program, if campus based, would work for you?

SpiritHorse Therapeutic provides free therapeutic horseback riding services to over 450 children and adults from ten counties in the Greater Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex each week at our facilities in Corinth, just north of Dallas, Texas. We currently serve more children than any center in the world.
